Chainlink Fence
Anchor Fence (established in 1891) was the first U.S. company to manufacture chain link fencing by machines using equipment imported from Belgium. One of the greatest advantages to chain link fences is that they are easy to see through. They can even be coated with green or brown material to make them blend in with their surroundings further. Chain link is a low-cost, utilitarian fence material that can be dressed up to appear elegant as well.

Barbed Wire Fence
Barbed wire fencing is commonly used as a security measure; its sharp barbs make it difficult to get around and can cause serious injury. This type of fence is easy to install, requiring only fence posts, the wire, and something to attach the two. The barbed wire comes in many types and is galvanized for longer durability. While barbed wire is effective for keeping animals restrained, it can be readily bypassed by humans. In such cases, razor wire may be more effective.
